Garmin Approach R50 Features:
Play & Practice: Using your Garmin launch monitor, you can take Target Practice, play 43,000 golf courses with Home Tee Hero*, make challenging putts, or use the driving range.
Ball Data+: Ball speed, carry distance, total distance, deviation distance, smash factor, launch angle, launch direction, spin rate, spin axis, and apex height.
Club Data+: Club head speed, club face angle, angle of attack, and smash factor.
Measurement Technology: Not one but three high-speed cameras capture club and ball data so you can improve your game.
Color Touchscreen: The G50 has a 10" color touchscreen display with 800x1280 pixels. As a result, it does not require a dedicated PC to operate. You can view all data on the 10-inch screen.
Golf Course Play*: Play indoor golf on 43,000 courses from around the world with the Home Tee Hero App.
Impact Video: View high-speed impact footage and get visual feedback that improves your ball striking.
Training Mode: Save and monitor club and ball statistics for every club and generate a shot dispersion chart using an advanced ball flight trajectory model so you can track and compare stats over time.
Built-In Barometer: With this sea-level adjustment, you'll get more accurate distances based on your current location. You can also manually adjust the pressure to prepare for varying conditions.
Leaderboards: Play in weekly tournaments with scores posted to Garmin's global leaderboard.
Garmin Golf App: You can view metrics from your R50 on a compatible smartphone with the mobile App.

The Garmin Approach R50 operates independently without the need for a dedicated PC, thanks to its built-in touchscreen display that allows all software to run directly on the device.
Can you connect the R50 to a PC?
Yes. The Garmin Express™ application connects your compatible Garmin® golf device to your Garmin Connect™ account using a computer.
1. Connect your Garmin golf device to your computer using the USB cable.
2. Go to garmin.com/express.
3. Download and install the Garmin Express application.
4. Open the Garmin Express application, and select Add Device.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Can I project the R50 data onto a larger screen?
To display data on a larger screen, you can connect the R50 to a projector with an HDMI cable.
