Projector Mounting Instructions

To install your projector, you will need the following items:

  • 1-1/2" Steel Pipe with Threads, usually 8" long
  • 1-1/2" Steel Pipe Floor Flange
  • 2 - 4 Lag Screws, 1/4" x 3" minimum
  • Phillips Head Screwdriver
  • Drill with Socket Head Attachment
  • Cold drink

Step 1: Unbox Projector and Mount.

Step 2: Flip Projector over and make sure the legs are screwed tight to the body.

Step 3: On each arm, squeeze clips and push towards the long end. This will release the mounting bracket (acorn looking piece). Make sure to unscrew the bracket as far as you can without removing the nut.

Step 4: Locate M4x10mm screw. These are appropriate for most projectors, but may not be for yours, please make sure you verify what works best for you.

Step 5: Attach Mounting Brackets to the bottom of projector. All projectors need 3 mounting brackets, some will accommodate 4. More is always better.

Step 6: Attach arms and pull tabs back towards the short end.

Step 7: Attach plate with pegs upwards and 5 holes facing the projector lens.

Step 8: Locate Allen nuts and large hex key.

Step 9: Attach plate with bolts in the center of the corners on the plate (3 will usually line up). Attach Allen nuts to bolts. The goal is to center the plate / mount on the projector, or get as close to center as possible.

Step 10: Tighten (but don't over-tighten) Allen nuts.

Step 11: Attach the cover plate - it just sits on.

Step 12: Hang flange on the ceiling. Make sure to attach it to your rafters / joists.

Step 13: Screw in your pipe to the flange. Get it as tight as you can.

Step 14: Screw mounting mechanism to the pipe. Tighten as much as possible, keeping the lock on the left side of the projector.

Step 15: Holding the projector and mount to the mechanism, close the lever to lock into place.

Step 16: Attach cables and turn projector on.

You may need to make some adjustments to your projector.

This screw on the side of the projector adjusts vertically.

This screw on the front of the projector adjusts horizontally.
