In partnership with Foresight Sports, the Bushnell Launch Pro delivers Tour-level launch monitor accuracy both indoors and out. Ranked by MyGolfSpy as the Best Golf Launch Monitor in 2022, the Pro offers golf simulation and captures club and ball data for game-improvement insights.
Unlike radar-based systems that set up behind the golfer and rely on algorithms to guess what happened at impact, the Bushnell Launch Pro uses a high-speed camera-based system to capture every detail at impact. It captures and measures thousands of frames per second for the most reliable and accurate ball flight and club data in the industry.
The Launch Pro also offers full golf course simulation and game play. The purchase price Includes a 14-day free trial of the Gold software package and Club Data add-on.
Note: Gaming-optimized PC and TV Monitor required for simulation. Sold separately. Device will not work outside U.S.
The Bushnell Launch Pro measure what matters, and does it with accuracy and consistency of the top-selling personal launch monitors. It provides carry distance, launch, spin, and club head speed*. When you know your numbers and measure what matters the most, you can take your practice sessions and performance on the course to the next level.
BALL LAUNCH DATA
Ball launch data is measured by capturing images of the ball to model it in real time, and comparing it to the next captured image to determine exactly what the ball is doing post-impact. Here's what the Launch Pro measures.
Carry Distance: The amount of distance the ball travels through the air.
Ball Speed: The measurement of the golf ball’s velocity just after impact. Ball speed is the main component in generating distance.
Total Spin: The amount of total spin created around the tilt axis is expressed as total spin. This will determine the curve and lift of the shot.
Vertical Launch Angle: Commonly referred to as "launch angle" for short, this metric is the initial vertical angle of ascent relative to the ground plane measured in degrees. The launch angle, combined with ball spin and speed, will determine the ball's carry and total distance.
Horizontal Launch Angle: Also know as "Azimuth," side angle, or deviation angle, it's the initial horizontal angle relative to the target line. Horizontal launch angle, combined with side spin, will determine the final ball position range relative to the target line.
Spin Axis: One of the most important pieces of data measure is spin-tilt axis. The spin-tilt axis is the axis that the golf ball rotates around to create shot curvature and lift.
Back Spin: A component of total spin that defines ball lift and trajectory.
Side Spin: A component of total spin that defines ball curvature or shot shape; related to the spin-tilt axis.
CLUB LAUNCH DATA
The Launch Pro doesn't just look at the ball, but place one of the included markers to the face of your club to get accurate and consistent club data previously only attainable at much higher price points.
Clubhead Speed*: The velocity at which the head travels, measured just prior to ball contact.
Smash Factor*: Smash Factor, also know as Efficiency, is the ratio between club head and golf ball velocities.
Club Path*: The swing path measured in a horizontal plane relative to the target line. This data point will tell you if the club was moving from inside-out, outside-in, or perfectly down the line.
Angle of Attack*: The descending or ascending path of the club head, measured in degrees. A positive number is hitting up on the ball and a negative number is hitting down on the ball.
* Requires Club Add-On software subscriptions.14-day free trial of Club Add-on software included in Gold package trial. Users can purchase the Club Data Add-on software for a discounted rate of $1,500 during the 14-day trail period. Thereafter the price will revert to its normal $1,750.
Not Included: Gaming PC (Required to power FSX 2020 Software, including Silver and Golf Packages). See PC System Requirements
High-Speed Cameras: The Launch Pro has three high-speed infrared cameras that capture ball and club data from in front of the golfer to provide exact ball and club metrics at the point of impact.
Portable: This lightweight 5 lbs. monitor can be used indoors as a golf simulator or outdoors on the driving range or golf course using Lithium Ion battery power instead of electric.
LCD Touch Screen: The launch monitor features a 3" x 2" touch screen to interact with real time shot data and adjust settings during practice and eliminates the need for external devices.
Barometric Sensor: This makes adjustments for altitude and air density. Higher altitiudes have lower air pressure causing the ball to travel furrher. The sensor detects these conditions and adjusts the data accordingly for realistic ball flight and data.
Built-In Accelerometer: This helps the monitor detect its own orientation for self leveling, alignment, and internal calibration.
Connectivity: Get full use out of the launch monitor by connecting a PC using Cat 6 and USB C, and BlueTooth, or connect with a mobile device or ipad using WiFi..
