Apple iOS Requirements

iPhone: Requires iOS 15.6 or later (an iPhone 8 or newer is highly recommended).

iPad: Requires iPadOS 15.6 or later. The device must be an iPad 2017 (5th Gen) or newer and must natively support 1080p resolution.

* Note on Hardware Performance: While basic functions run on older chips, utilizing high-end premium subscription features like 3D graphics or high-frame-rate simulations performs best on an A12 Bionic chip or newer (such as an 8th-generation iPad, iPad Air 3rd gen, or iPad Pro 2018 onwards).

Android Requirements

FAQ

I already have an MLM2PRO subscription. Do I have to get a new subscription to Core?

No. If you already own an older MLM2Pro, your current premium membership automatically transitions into a Rapsodo Core membership at no extra charge.

If I already have the MLM2Pro App do I need to download the new Rapsodo Golf App for the MLM2XPro?

Yes. The Rapsodo Mobile App is brand-new and the previous App will not work with the MLM2XPRO.

What are the indoor space requirements for an MLM2XPRO golf simulator?

You need at least 15.5' feet of depth and 8' of width: 8' feet from the ball to the net, plus 7' 6" feet behind the ball for the device. To capture a full swing video, taller players may need to move the device further back.

How can I tell if the MLM2XPRO is lined up with the ball and hitting area?

Open the Alignment section in the software. It will show the devices live camera view and hitting area. Place the ball inside the orange hitting area and use the Level Indicator until the Continue button unlocks. MLM2XPRO has Level Indicator light is on the top of the device. When the bar is centered the unit is level.

What does a solid red light mean on the MLM2XPRO?

A solid red light means the device is on and ready to connect.

What does a slowly pulsing white light mean on the MLM2XPRO?

A slowly pulsing white light indicates a firmware update is being installed. Be sure to leave the device on until it stops pulsing and the light is solid red again indicating it is ready to connect.

What ball and club data does the MLM2XPRO provide?

Carry, Total Distance, Side Carry, Ball Speed, Club Speed, Smash Factor, Launch Angle, Launch Direction, Apex, Descent Angle, Spin Rate, Spin Axis, Attack Angle, and Club Path.

What data on the MLM2XPRO are measured vs. calculated?

Measured: Balled Speed, Launch Angle, Launch Direction, Club Speed, Attack Angle, and club Path. Spin Rate, and Spin Axis are measured with an RPT ball.
Calculated: Smash Factor, Carry, Total Distance, Apex, Descent Angle, and Side Carry.

Do I have to use RPT golf balls with the MLM@XPRO?

No. The MLM2XPRO will work with any golf ball. However, for measured spin rate and spin axis an RPT ball is required, and delivers a truer shot shape that is comparable to your shots outdoors.
