GC2 Features

Dual High-Speed Cameras: High-speed photometric cameras capture up to 10,000 frames per second at impact, giving you dependable feedback that helps you improve your game. The result is reliable, repeatable ball data whether you're hitting indoors or outside.
Hitting Zone Indicator Light: The blue light on the top of the unit along with a graphic on the display indicate if the ball is in the triangular shaped hitting zone.

Indoor/Outdoor Use: Bring your numbers from your indoor sim to the range and back. The GC2 helps you optimize practice both on and off course. Its portable, self-contained design makes this launch monitor easy to set down, align, and start hitting without a complicated setup.

Foresight GC2 Ball Data Shown On Mobile Device

Ball Data: No stickers needed. The GC2 provides 13 data points including: carry distance, total distance, ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, back spin, side spin, total spin, spin axis, offline, peak height, descent angle, and hang time.

Hitting Zone Size: The GC2 has a large, triangular shaped hitting zone that fans out toward the golfer.

Foresight GC2 Link Enabled Technology
LINK-Enabled Technology: This innovative feature seamlessly connects your Foresight Sports launch monitor data with Bluetooth-enabled Bushnell Golf laser rangefinders. Start by installing the Bushnell and Foresight apps, then link the Foresight app to your launch monitor. Complete a MyBag assessment by hitting at least three shots with each club to gather your dispersion patterns, gapping, and distances for up to 13 clubs. Sync the MyBag assessment with the Bushnell Golf app and connect it to your Bushnell Pro-X3 laser rangefinder. Once synced, your MyBag data will automatically update based on your location and current course conditions.

Foresight GC2 2.8

Color Display: A 2.8" color display is easily visible indoors and out and high-lights key data. This is not a touch screen like the GC3.

No market balls: The GC2's photometric cameras pick up all the data without requiring marked balls.

Battery Life: With hours of portable battery life, the GC2 can move from your home simulator to an extended range session without changing the way your shots are measured. Same swing. Same measurement technology. Same data you can trust.

FAQ

Will the Foresight GC2 2026 launch monitor run FSX 2020 or FSX Play software?

Yes. The Foresight GC2 is compatible with both FSX 2020 and FSX Play, provided you already have the appropriate software license. Foresight’s current support documentation specifically lists the GC2 as supported hardware for FSX Play, and its FSX 2020 materials also list the GC2 as compatible. For new GC2 purchases, however, Foresight’s new Premier software ecosystem is the software platform being offered going forward; FSX 2020 and FSX Play are legacy platforms rather than the software included with a new GC2.

Does the Foresight GC2 have a touch screen?

The Foresight GC2 does not have a touchscreen. Its built-in display is used to show shot data, but navigation and software interaction are handled through connected devices rather than by touching the GC2 screen.

Do I need a subscription to use the Foresight GC2 2026 model?

No. You do not have to pay for a subscription just to use the Foresight GC2. Foresight offers a Free tier that includes core ball-data views and up to 10 sessions of history in its current software ecosystem. Foresight Sports
If you want more features, then subscriptions come into play. Foresight+ Silver is $199/year and adds features such as unlimited session history, dispersion analysis, drills, challenges, and eligibility for course play. Gold is $599/year and adds features such as swing video, multiple profiles, club comparison, advanced drills, and third-party integrations. To play Foresight courses in Premier, you also need a Course Pass plus Silver ($199/Yr) or Gold ($599/Yr).

Does the Foresight GC2 0226 offer club data?

No. The 2026 Foresight GC2 is a ball-data-only launch monitor and does not measure club data. It uses two high-speed cameras optimized for tracking the golf ball, so it does not provide metrics such as clubhead speed, club path, angle of attack, face angle, or impact location.

If you want to play golf courses in Foresight's Premier software do you have to have a features subscription and a course play subscription?

Yes. To play full golf courses in Foresight Premier, you need both an active Foresight+ Silver or Gold membership and a Course Pass subscription.
Foresight+ unlocks the Premier software features and functionality, while the Course Pass provides access to the available golf course library. In other words, Foresight+ covers the software features, and Course Pass covers course play.

Can club data on the Foresight GC2 2026 model be added or unlocked later?

No. According to Foresight, the GC2 will be a ball-only unit. There are no future plans to offer club data because limitations with the camera system.

Does the GC2 work indoors and outdoors?

Yes. The GC2 is built for both indoor and outdoor use, giving golfers the flexibility to practice in a simulator, at the driving range, or on the course.

What is the difference between the GC2 and the GC3?

The GC2 is a more affordable, ball-data-only launch monitor designed for golfers who want Foresight’s camera-based accuracy without paying for club tracking. The GC3 adds club data, giving you additional metrics such as clubhead speed, club path, angle of attack, and impact information for more in-depth swing analysis.
Both are portable camera-based launch monitors that can be used indoors or outdoors, but the GC3 is the better fit for golfers who want detailed club and swing analysis, while the GC2 focuses on accurate ball-flight data at a lower price point.
